Why We Choose Organic

OrganicEra develops baby products using certified
organic materials and responsible production
methods.

This page explains the principles behind our
material selection and manufacturing process.

1. ORGANIC VS CONVENTIONAL COTTON

Conventional and organic
cotton are grown in very
different ways.

Conventional cotton farming often relies on synthetic pesticides, herbicides and synthetic fertilizers.

Organic cotton is grown according to certified organic farming standards. These standards support soil health, biodiversity and responsible water use.

The difference is not only in the fibre, but in the entire agricultural system.

CONVENTIONAL COTTON

Heavy use of synthetic pesticides and herbicides

Chemicals can remain in soil, water and air

Long-term impact on soil health and biodiversity

ORGANIC COTTON

Natural methods to protect crops and soil

Protects water resources and reduces pollution

Supports healthy soil and a more balanced ecosystem

2. WHY IT MATTERS FOR BABIES

Babies are more
sensitive.

We select each material with care. Our criteria include safety for babies, durability, skin-friendliness, and compatibility with organic production standards.

Material / ComponentOur Approach

PackagingPaper-based packaging materials where possible.
3. WHAT DOES ORGANIC PRODUCTION AVOID?

Fewer Unwanted Chemicals.

Organic textile production avoids many of the chemicals commonly used in conventional dyeing and finishing. This helps reduce unnecessary chemical exposure for both people and the environment.

No Formaldehyde

No Azo Dyes

No Heavy Metals

No Chlorine Bleach

No PVC / Phthalates

No GMO Cotton

4. WHY CERTIFICATION MATTERS ?

Certification provides
transparency.

It means every stage of production- from fibre selection to the finished product- is independently verified according to GOTS ( Global Organic Textile Standards). The standard also covers environmental and social criteria.

For us, certification is not simply a label. It is a part of
our responsibility.

5. FROM FIBER TO FINISHED PRODUCT

Every step is part of the whole.

We believe responsibility continues throughout every stage of production- not only in the materials we choose, but also in how every product is made.

From fibre selection to, Knitting / Weaving, to dyeing and printing, to cutting, to sewing, to quality control and packing.
